1. 1. What this website sets

   One cookie, named cc_cart_id. It holds nothing but an internal reference the server uses to find your shopping bag at Shopify — no name, no email address, no products.

   The cookie is httpOnly: JavaScript in your browser cannot read it. It expires on its own after 10 days, or sooner if you delete it yourself.

   Delete it and you lose your shopping bag. Everything else in the shop keeps working.

2. 2. Visitor statistics

   We measure how many people visit which page, using Vercel Web Analytics. That measurement works without cookies and without an identifier that follows you across visits: no profiles are built and nothing goes to advertisers.

   We use no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels and no remarketing.

3. 3. Why there is no cookie banner

   Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. It is not required for a cookie whose only purpose is to deliver the service you asked for — remembering your shopping bag (article 11.7a, third paragraph, of the Dutch Telecommunications Act).

   Since that is the only cookie we set, a banner would ask you about something you have nothing to decide. So there isn't one.

   If we ever do introduce a tracking cookie or an advertising pixel, a consent request will come first and this page will be updated. This is a description of how things stand, not a blank cheque.

4. 4. Shopify's checkout

   Checkout does not happen on this website but in Shopify's environment. Shopify sets its own cookies there, among other things to make your session, your bag and fraud detection work.

   Shopify's cookie and privacy policy applies to those cookies, not this one.

5. 5. Refusing or deleting cookies

   Every browser lets you inspect, block and delete cookies. How exactly differs per browser and is found in the settings, usually under Privacy.

   Block all cookies and this shop cannot remember your bag, which means you cannot check out. That is not a punishment but a consequence: without that reference, the server does not know which bag is yours.
